Co-Creation × Sustainable Cold Chain|New Opportunities for the Cold Chain at the 2025 Meet Taipei
The 2025 Meet Taipei Startup Festival took place this November. Invited by EY, GreenValue joined 16 cross-sector startups in the EY Value Co-Creation Pavilion, where sustainable cold chain technologies were showcased alongside three other focus areas: healthcare, technology applications, and cultural and creative retail. Over the three-day event, the pavilion attracted a steady flow of entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate representatives, sparking lively and in-depth discussions throughout the venue.
At this annual innovation gathering, GreenValue shared real-world implementations and engaged in hands-on exchanges, presenting our practical achievements in AI-driven smart defrosting, energy recovery, solar power and energy storage integration, and cold chain monitoring systems. These cases illustrated the next stage of the cold chain’s evolution toward greater sustainability and intelligence.

The Cold Chain Is About More Than Reducing Energy Use
During the exhibition, we held deep conversations with startups and investors on how engineering expertise, AI applications, and data governance can address the cold chain industry’s three most critical challenges: energy costs, temperature control risks, and labor shortages.
Many founders and AI teams showed strong interest in GreenValue’s image-recognition-based defrosting, cold energy recovery solutions, and warehouse data platforms, expressing enthusiasm for future cross-industry collaboration.
Better Answers for Sustainability, Technology, and Industrial Upgrading
Participating in Meet Taipei was not just about showcasing technology. It was an opportunity to rethink and redefine the role of the cold chain industry.
Cold chain infrastructure is steadily moving to the center of industrial upgrading. It is becoming a critical foundation that enables collaboration with tech startups, aligns closely with sustainability goals, and delivers real, actionable momentum for industry transformation.
GreenValue will continue to deepen partnerships across diverse fields to build a more efficient, smarter, and more sustainable cold chain ecosystem. By doing so, we aim to ensure that technology truly reshapes how industries operate and that every unit of electricity consumed and every shipment moved brings us closer to a net-zero future.
