Since 2020, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for vaccines has become a global focal point. To ensure effective vaccine cold chain logistics, ZUELLIG PHARMA has actively strengthened its logistics equipment. In Taiwan, ZUELLIG PHARMA has undertaken the distribution responsibilities for COVID-19 vaccines such as Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, and AstraZeneca.
Introduction to Temperature Zones
Green Value has become the strongest and most robust backbone for Zuellig Pharma. Through advanced planning and the installation of state-of-the-art refrigeration units, they ensure the proper storage of millions of vaccine doses across Taiwan. Within their facilities, there are ultra-low temperature freezers capable of reaching -80℃, ensuring the safe storage of 5 million vaccine doses. Additionally, warehouses set at -20℃ can hold between 5 to 7 million doses, while refrigerated storage at 2℃ to 8℃ can accommodate up to 15 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines.
Through the close collaboration between Zuellig Pharma and Green Value, Taiwan has been able to ensure the efficient operation of the vaccine cold chain, providing a solid foundation for epidemic prevention efforts. This collaboration has also ensured the stable supply of vaccines, playing a crucial role in controlling and preventing the spread of the pandemic.

Due to the increasing demand for low-temperature drugs such as Covid-19 vaccines domestically in 2022, Green Value constructed a new 496 square meter -20℃ freezer within two months to ensure the safe storage of vaccines and other pharmaceuticals.

Comprehensive Monitoring System and Fire Protection Measures
The factory is equipped with hundreds of temperature and humidity sensors, integrated with monitoring hubs. Any detected issues will trigger immediate SMS notifications to designated mobile phones, alerting maintenance personnel for timely resolution.
The factory premises are equipped with a comprehensive fire safety system to minimize potential loss of goods during emergencies.
